Welcome to A Child of the East Side, my very personal and passionate research and writing project filled with family history and remembrances of St. Paul's East Side in days gone by. 

Those remembrances have also led me to explore and document my own personal history.

Somewhat by accident I have become the unintentional story teller of the immigrants who came before me and the impact they have had on who I am.  So many pieces are missing, and I look forward to filling in the blanks. If you can help, please do!
